I've been in the hobby on and off for almost 20 years. A few years back, after my tanks had been in storage since a move, I stumbled on MD Fish Tanks in my feed and that was it — I was back in. I've kept community tanks, tried (and sometimes failed) to grow live plants, and learned most of what I know the hard way. I built Aquarify because I wanted a place where fishkeepers could actually share the full story — not just the glamour shots, but the rescapes, the algae battles, and the slow wins.
